Liturgical Art

Personal projects, that are not driven by commerce help creatives develop new muscles, louder voices and a more grace-filled worldview.

For centuries, Christian spirituality and stories were the primary subject of artists, and now it has less of a voice in our culture. I believe this is a major opportunity to offer hope to a broken world.

As someone who is being radically transformed by Jesus, it's important to me that I periodically contribute to this dialog.  These projects have been displayed in various liturgical services at Imago Dei Community, my church in Portland, OR. Each of these art projects has helped me learn more about Jesus and see deeper into myself.

Artist Statement:

There’s complexity to the story of Christ’s resurrection. Each of these pieces reflect on small, human moments of this devine story. They offer a different thought in regards to our plight and Christ’s plan to create relationship with us and through us. Each member of our family contributed to the creation of this work:
